On 18th September 2018, upon the three rounds of selections of network voting, expert review and committee synthetical evaluation, Focuslight’s LIMO linear beam laser has won the “Best Laser Application Award” of OFweek High-Technology Awards 2018.

OFweek Laser Awards 2018 was the most professional and influential affair in the laser industry, which was designed to honor the superior contributive products, technics and corporations for encouraging more corporations to devote to technology innovation and infusing more innovative products and advanced technologies to expedite the industry’s benign development.

The award-winning LIMO linear bean laser is equipped with fully indium-free high-power semiconductor laser light source. Based on LIMO’s unique micro-optics shaping technique, this laser is able to form an accurate-shaping line beam of high uniformity and high-power density, with the length from 0.5 to 2 meters. It differs from the traditional material processing method of point light source and the processing efficiency has been greatly improved. At present, LIMO linear bean laser has been widely applied in various fields such as surface treatment, material modification, re-crystallization and plastic welding.
